Mena Hotels, Arkansas

The accommodations in Mena Arkansas range from lodges and cabins to motels and fairly upscale cottage rentals, so finding the ideal place to rest your head when visiting is relatively easy. There aren't many standard hotels in Mena when it comes down to it, and you're encouraged to look into all the different lodging possibilities when planning your trip. For nature enthusiasts, securing a site at one of the area campgrounds just might be the ideal way to go. You can read about some of the more popular Mena hotels below and see if they fit what you have in mind. Wherever you choose stay in Mena, a terrific vacation destination lies just outside your door, so find your accommodations today and start planning your fun-filled itinerary.

One of the more enticing hotels in Mena is the Queen Wilhelmina Lodge, which can be found atop Rich Mountain. Scenic mountain views are just one of the perks at this historic lodge, which offers 38 guest rooms that boast tasteful decors and an ample amount of amenities. Some of the rooms are larger than others and feature more amenities, but if it's cheap Mena lodging that you're after, the simpler rooms are quite nice for the price. Standard amenities that can be found in each guest room include free wireless internet access, a telephone, a coffee maker, an alarm clock, cable TV, a coffee maker, and an iron and ironing board. Book one of the nicer units, and you can expect extras like a spa tub and a more elegant decor. Some units even have a fireplace. A gift shop and a restaurant are among the lodge's facilities, as is a meeting room that can handle up to 55 people. When you're not relaxing at the Queen Wilhelmina Lodge, you can go hiking in the surrounding state park, and families with younger children will want to make it a point to enjoy a ride on the park's Southern Belle Depot miniature train.

Cheap Mena lodging is not hard to come by, as the lodging establishments here are all relatively affordable. You can save on rates by staying at discount hotels in Mena like the Limetree Inn. Straightforward motel rooms with some good amenities are what you can expect at the Limetree Inn, and there are larger suites available if you need added space. Both the suites and the Deluxe King rooms here have mini-fridges, while the suite is the only guest unit that provides a microwave at no extra charge. Standard in-room amenities include a reclining chair, cable TV, a clock radio, a hair dryer, an iron/ironing board, a small desk with a chair, and a coffee maker. The Limetree Inn has a restaurant and a swimming pool, and high-speed wireless internet access is available if you are interested in going online to check your email or plan things like drives on the nearby Talimena National Scenic Byway.

Like the Limetree Inn, the Ozark Inn can be found just off of Highway 71. When it comes to cheap Mena lodging, the Ozark Inn definitely qualifies, so you will likely have money left over for things like fishing excursions and area ATV tours during your stay. Recent renovations have done well to spruce up the Ozark Inn, which features an outdoor pool and ground-level access to the guest rooms among its highlights. Complimentary coffee is offered to guests in the morning at the Ozark Inn, and there is a restaurant next to the hotel should you be looking for a convenient place to grab a bite to eat. The rooms here are nothing fancy, but they are tidy and among the cheapest that you'll find among the Mena hotels. In-room amenities include cable TV, air-conditioning, and a data port telephone.

Checking out some of the area bed and breakfast inns is a good way to complement the rather limited choices for Mena hotels. Interestingly enough, the curious Raspberry Manor Bed and Breakfast likes to celebrate Christmas throughout the year, with July being an especially festive "Christmas season." Whether you get caught up in the Christmas cheer or not, this unique B&B encourages fun and relaxation in the Ouachita Mountains. The Raspberry Manor B&B can be found on a mountain that overlooks Irons Fork Lake. Almost 80 acres of woodlands surround the hotel, and you can enjoy a number of fun outdoor activities in the area. White water rafting/canoeing, hiking, and horseback riding are a few of the options for outdoor fun. There are three guest rooms to choose from at the Raspberry Manor, and you can also look to stay in the rustic cabin or the newer pondside Fishin' Shack. With its heart-shaped tub and its secluded location, the Fishin' Shack is ideal for couples. There's also another small cottage here called Cupid's Hide-Away, and it's also ideal for couples. The cabins and cottages offer kitchens that make them more desirable, and standard amenities in all the units include a private bathroom, plush towels, free basic bath products, a hair dryer, an iron and ironing board, an alarm clock, a mini-fridge with nonalcoholic beverages, a comfy feather mattress, and a selection of snacks.
